Procurement Resources

Cooperative Purchasing

Cooperative purchasing is a procurement method conducted by, or on behalf of, one or more governmental units for use by other governmental units. Sourcewell is guided and enabled by M.S. 471.59, the “Joint Exercise of Powers.” Sourcewell, as a public agency, establishes and provides nationally leveraged and competitively solicited purchasing contracts on behalf of our 50,000 members. All suppliers through the collaborative have been awarded contracts through Sourcewell’s competitive process.
